What can I do

My key expertise is broadly within biomedical research. I have worked as a researcher for many years, both in the pharmaceutical- and biotech industry, and in academic settings where I am currently an assistant professor. My academic research focuses on (mostly marine) toxins, where my emphasis is on the translation of these into biomedical application. Within this, I am currently spearheading a drug development program developing novel pain therapeutics.
From this work, as well as my time in the pharmaceutical industry, I have acquired insight and expertise in both the more scientific aspects of therapeutic development but also the business development aspects, in particular as they relate to early phase startup/spinout entrepreneurships. Here, I have successfully attracted millions (DKK) in funding to drive the project, as well as helped others do the same.
I have extensive experience with scientific and biomedical problem solving. This ranges from research strategies and experimental setups, to detailed, critical data analysis.
I will be most useful if I am consulted before starting the data gathering process, since I can help point out pitfalls and caveats that need to be considered in the setup. But even after this, I can help get the most from the data obtained, as well as steer you around certain pitfalls in the analysis and interpretations.

Resumé
I am currently working as an assistant professor, and have a long research career in both academic and industrial environments. During my PhD, I spent time doing research at Harvard Medical School in Boston, and at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda.
I have a strong interest in home automation and smart home tech, which led me down the path of programming. My home runs on Python3, so this is what I learned. I have since started to use this in my research as well, and now routinely write scripts for my projects, or for others when needed.
